Live prices, weather, online speech services, outside websites, streamed recordings and embedded videos still need internet.

Saved data keeps its original source dates. An offline copy does not become a live feed.

Storage, backups and updates

Large reference libraries need enough free device storage. Saving an update can temporarily need space for the old copy and two copies of the new files.

Removing offline files does not remove your notes or plans. Browser data clearing can remove both, so keep exported backups.

Files and personal work do not automatically sync across browsers, website addresses or devices.

Reconnect and choose Save this tool for offline use to save the latest edition. A failed update does not delete the previous saved files.
